In collaboration with the National University of Singapore & Centre for the Arts, nuSTUDIOS Film Productions, the Film Production House of the student-run guild in the National University of Singapore (NUS) will be organising another round of its annual film competition, Point & Shoot 2020: 55 hours short film challenge.
Point & Shoot 2020 is a short film competition where individuals or teams up to a maximum of 5 must plan, shoot, edit, and submit the best short film in less than 55 hours upon the release of a given theme. Not only do contestants get first-hand experience in film production under time constraints and learn more about filmmaking, they will also get useful feedback from the jury, which comprises established film professionals such as Jasmine Ng, Eyasham Ali and Nikki Loke.
Point & Shoot 2020 is open to all students in post-secondary and tertiary institutions between the age of 16 to 35. Due to the current COVID-19 restriction, the maximum number of people per team has been reduced to 5 and the competition will be carried out online. Students are also welcomed to attend an exclusive workshop on 18 December.
Registration opens from 16 November to 16 December, and they can register on their website here: http://bit.ly/pointandshoot2020 There will be no registration fee this year.
