2 years ago, SINdie uncovered a slew of novel short films that told the Singapore story in the most individually personal way. That was ciNE65, a short film competition that invites the public to tell their Singapore story. ciNE65 is back again this year and SINdie will play a part in helping to bring more buzz to the competition. In this second season of ciNE65, the theme is "I'll Be There For You, Singapore".

How do you avoid the Filmmaking 101 mistake of using the generic line, “Do you know what I mean” on your actors?
Applying theatre, film and acting techniques, this workshop will help you - the filmmaker - get the best out of your actors from rehearsals to the actual shoot. There will also be a short acting exercise followed by a discussion

With more than a decade of production experience under his belt, Lionel started his foray in TV since 1995 and has since amassed accolades, credits and awards in TV, film, web and even theatre. Since being nominated for his very first Asian TV award in 1998, Lionel has worn many hats. From producing his own theatre productions from 2001 to 2007, he was also the Director for Portable Film Festival Singapore from 2006 to 2008. In his TV career, his most recent accolade: the New York Festivals 2010 TV Award for the TV series Scene.City Singapore – for which he is credited as Executive Producer. Its animation division has worked on projects such as Tatsumi, which was featured in the 2011 Cannes Film Festival's Un Certain Regard and won Best Animated Feature at SITGES (Barcelona). Its post-production and visual effects team works with major advertising agencies, production companies, broadcasters and content companies. Some of its high profile projects include Eric Khoo's My Magic, which was in competition for the Palme d'Or at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival and multi-Emmy winner Mark Burnett Productions' Contender Asia. I Infinite Studios also manages soundstages in Singapore and Indonesia.
