Bigger, better, bolder, the 9th edition of the Fly By Night Video Challenge 2012 is an exciting 48-hour video challenge that takes aspiring filmmakers out of their comfort zone to shoot the film they have always wanted to make. Participants have one weekend to conceptualise and make their 3-minute video. Started in 2003 by filmmaker Tan Pin Pin and film curator Yuni Hadi, Fly By Night has remained true to its vision and is a breeding ground for some of the brightest talents in Singapore, including filmmakers Chai Yee Wei (Blood Ties), Tan Chui Mui (Malaysia), Victric Thng (Locust) and Tania Sng (Producer, Cages).
The 2012 edition is presented by Filmgarde and organised by Objectifs. The 9th Fly By Night Video Challenge will take place from 2 to 4 November 2012. Registration closes at 27 October, Saturday, 6pm sharp.
The top 10 winners will receive SG$200 cash plus SG$100 worth of movie vouchers.
