The onslaught of Singapore made horror films continues. To be more exact horredies - cross breeds between horror and comedy, very much in the style of the popular HK "Happy Ghost" franchise starring Raymond Wong in the 80s.
The latest kid on the block is《贪心鬼见鬼》"Greedy Ghost"! Produced by Clover Films, Grand Brilliance, Asia Tropical Films, PMP Entertainment, Sky Films, MM2 Entertainment & RAM Entertainment, it stars Jesseca Liu (刘子绚), Taiwan’s Kang Kang (康晋荣“康康”)，Singapore’s Henry Thia (程旭辉“辉哥”) and Malaysia’s Brendan Yuen (袁顺成). It is directed by Boris Boo, who directed many of Jack Neo's films and Phua Chu Kang.
Greedy Ghost 《贪心鬼见鬼》, executive produced by Mark Lee (李国煌) is currently in production and is slated for theatrical release during March / April 2012 in Singapore & Malaysia. Check out the video for a sneak peak at the 'horredy' team.
