I drove down to Sinema Old School on Tuesday thinking it was a SMFS screening night. SMFS stands for Singapore Malay Filmmakers Society. But it was only 1 out of the 4 gangster short films screened, even though almost the whole crowd consisted of the supporters of Brotherhood:Consequences, the only Malay film that night. The only comparable crowd I ever saw at Old School was for `18 Grams of Love' earlier this year.
