Who's Shooting What? 2011 : Final Glimpse

This could be a comeback year for many. Filmmakers who have been 'in development' or er hem, 'in hibernation' are thawing out and ready to surprise the scene. Talents, brace yourselves for the glare of the redheads and kinoflow lights. Land and building owners, we will be needing your space. MDA, be prepared to receive lots of funding letters.

If the Who's Shooting What 2011 series seems only part of the picture, here is the rest who are keeping mum about their projects and only giving us a little glimpse.



Sherman Ong
Shooting a dance film (currently untitled) in Malaysia for next year's Art Fest.









Kan Lume

Shooting Libertas, an animated short film about a girl who travels to Uluru in the aftermath of a tragedy.








Tan Pin Pin
Developing her feature film The Arrival and shooting a piece for the Singapore Biennale.






Sun Koh
Developing her feature film A Million Monkeys, which is a murder mystery set in Kuala Lumpur.








Anthony Chen
Developing a family-themed feature film and possibly shooting this year. Check out our recent interview with him.







Royston Tan
Developing his first horror feature film.




Ming Wong
Creating works for various festivals and museums including Singapore Biennale, In Transit Festival (Berlin), Hara Museum (Tokyo), Villa Romana (Florence), Vitamin Creative Space (Guangzhou) and more. www.mingwong.org
